Domestic Water and Sanitation Tariff (single residential) 2023/4
The domestic single residential sanitation tariff is linked to the water tariff at a rate of 70% of water consumption (70% of 35kl = 24.5kl).
Added to the water tariff will be a fixed charge for the City water connection.
A 15mm connection is charged at R81.73 incl vat
A 22mm connection is charged at R145.94 incl vat
Registered indigent households do not pay the fixed basic charge
Refuse is collected weekly at a Refuse Charge of R180.90 incl vat for a 240-litre bin.
